Jan Sangharsh Mahasangh Celebrates World Environment Day 2026
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, Jan Sangharsh Mahasangh (JSM) organized an environmental awareness initiative to encourage citizens to protect and preserve nature for future generations.
Addressing the gathering, JSM leaders emphasized that the environment is not just about trees, rivers, and wildlife; it is the very foundation of human life. Clean air, pure water, fertile land, and a healthy ecosystem are essential for the survival and well-being of all living beings.
The organization expressed concern over the growing environmental challenges caused by pollution, deforestation, excessive use of plastic, and irresponsible human activities. These actions have contributed to climate change, rising temperatures, water scarcity, and an increase in natural disasters across the world.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of Jan Sangharsh Mahasangh urged people to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. Simple actions such as planting trees, reducing plastic consumption, conserving water, maintaining cleanliness, and spreading environmental awareness can collectively make a significant impact.
As part of the World Environment Day observance, JSM appealed to every citizen to plant at least one tree and take responsibility for nurturing it. A tree planted today will provide oxygen, shade, and environmental benefits for many years to come.
Jan Sangharsh Mahasangh reiterated that environmental protection is not solely the responsibility of governments and organizations; it is the duty of every individual. The organization called upon all sections of society to work together in creating a greener, cleaner, and healthier world.
