Jan Sangharsh Mahasangh (JSM Nagaland) successfully organized an Awareness Programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2026. More than 35 children, parents, and local residents participated in the programme.
The speakers highlighted the harmful effects of tobacco and substance abuse and encouraged participants to adopt a healthy and addiction-free lifestyle. Interactive awareness sessions were conducted for children and parents.
Representatives from Brahma Kumaris attended the programme and shared valuable messages on healthy living and self-discipline. Shri Narayan Debnath, Vice President of HJM and organizer of Geeta Shiksha Kendra, also supported to the success of the programme.
The programme concluded with a pledge to stay away from tobacco and drugs and to work towards building a healthier and addiction-free society.
